Small Ice Cream Cart in Malta
We recently had the pleasure of creating a custom project for our client in Malta - the small ice cream cart. This food cart is based on our most adorable concession trailer model, the FR220WD, featuring a rounded top and an extra-large franchise window. With its compact dimensions of 7ft in length and 6.5ft in width, it is perfectly designed to fit into crowded streets and other public spaces to serve delectable ice cream.
This steel construction has smooth exterior walls made from cold-rolled steel with a special waterproof and rust-resistant finish. Therefore, the cart has excellent resilience against various environmental elements. The non-galvanized chassis and durable tires make it ideal for smooth road travel. Just hook it up with a towing car and move around.

Perfect Small Ice Cream Cart for Only 1 Person
Inquiring about a suitable ice cream cart for his solo ice cream business, the customer specified that it didn't need to be overly large since he would be running the entire operation single-handedly. After considering the customer's requirements, we proposed several options from our range of small ice cream carts, which measure between 7ft to 10ft. These carts are not only compact but also easy to maneuver. The interior space can comfortably accommodate up to 3 people.
However, our smallest standard model, the FR220D, might not be the best fit, given the customer's need for ample workspace. So, we recommended an upgraded model, the FR220WD, which has a widened width of 6.5ft.
Custom-built Ice Cream Cart
The standard specification of our ice cream cart, while exceptional, fell short of meeting our client's unique requirements. So, our design team invested several days in intensive discussions with our client on every aspect of the ice cream cart's interior design and kitchen layout and gave ideal solutions.
- Custom Salad Bar: At the concession window area, we fixed a commercial salad bar as requested by the customer. Initially, the customer wanted 10 refrigerated compartments on the bar, but we explained that such specifications would result in smaller compartments. After negotiations, we decided to customize a salad bar with 8 spacious 1/6 refrigerated compartments, positioned on both sides of the countertop. Below the countertop, there are an additional fridge and freezer
- Stainless Steel Workbenches: To accommodate the customer's soft-serve ice cream machine, we custom-made a stainless steel workstation on one side of the ice cream cart. The height of this workstation was lowered by 35cm compared to our standard design. On the opposite side is fixed a regular workbench with storage compartments under the counter.
- Drink Cooler: The customer's requested drink cooler was placed conveniently next to the rear workstation. This cooler has a cooling capacity of 98L and features adjustable shelves.
- Water Sink: The 2-compartment water sink incorporates a dedicated water pump, a 25L water tank, and a specially-installed cold water faucet. This configuration ensures that the customer has a steady supply of cold water readily available for various purposes.
- EU Standard Power Outlets: We added eight 220V/50HZ EU standard power outlets along the interior walls of the ice cream cart. These outlets are positioned near the appliances and workstations to power appliances such as refrigerators, water pumps, and coolers.

Positioned prominently, the brand logo takes center stage, adorning the cart's sides with captivating LOGO lighting units. We installed an air conditioner in the cart, so our client can provide the best service even during the hottest outdoor days.
The cooling mechanisms, lighting, water pumps, and more, all require a steady supply of power. A stainless steel generator box customized in accordance with the client's generator welded to the tow bar. This box not only ensures the safety of the generator but also serves as a noise suppressor that muffles the generator when it is in full operation.
