Luisa’s Small Coffee Food Truck in Netherlands

Running a coffee shop is not an easy task, particularly when COVID-19 hit the world in 2020. “My coffee shop was closed permanently two years ago because of the Pandemic,” Luisa said. She is one of our clients who once owned a small coffee shop in Rotterdam. Her small store is frequented daily and brings her a steady income. Occasionally, small parties are held there. Luisa enjoyed the time she used to spend working in her café, even though it was busy at times. But, when the epidemic hit, everything changed. Luisa, like other restaurateurs and store owners, had to choose to close her store because of the dramatic drop in traffic, despite all her efforts beforehand.

Now that the economy has recovered and people are happy to go out in public and enjoy good food and drinks, Luisa is still thinking about starting a coffee business. However, faced with the uncertainty of the pandemic, Luisa did not choose the traditional way to start her business because she could no longer afford to lose anything. This time, she approached us and hoped us to provide her with a small coffee food truck. A coffee truck has the same functions as a cafe, making all kinds of coffee and providing excellent service to every customer. Most importantly, its price is much lower than a cafe at corner. Therefore, owning a coffee food truck is far better than opening a brick-and-mortar cafe.

7.2ft Small Coffee Food Truck in Netherlands

Luisa made it clear that she wanted a small food truck, so our team recommended the FR220D, a round-top food trailer with its signature semi-circular roof that looks cute and small. The huge concession window with a hang-out service table provides ample service areas for customers to order and pick up food. The small coffee food truck are approximately 7.2ft high and 6.5ft wide. Also, we have other options such as square food trailers, airstream food trailers, and container coffee shops. The size of these trucks can be customized. But Luisa seems to have a soft spot for the FR220D.

Design and Build, All From Scratch

FR220D is the highest-selling model in our company, so we regularly produce a batch of standard models as stock. Afterward, it can be modified or customized according to the customer's needs, and then, shipped directly. This would greatly reduce the waiting time for customers. But unfortunately, at that time, the FR220D was already sold out. We had to step up the production of a brand new one for Luisa.

During the design and production process, we worked closely with Luisa to ensure that the small coffee food truck met her requirements in every way. Our designers first provided Luisa with a 3D model of the vehicle, and then adjusted the color of the coffee truck according to her suggestions. Once everything was confirmed, the production work started orderly. We used galvanized steel frame and cold-rolled steel to build the outer frame of the coffee truck and welded and polished the joints. In the lower part of the chassis, four heavy-duty support legs were installed to provide support and stability to the truck. While the frame was being built, the interior walls of the small coffee food truck was also being installed. Our professional electrician wired the truck, installed sockets, and LED lights, and performed tests. After that, stainless steel workbenches, sinks, refrigerators, and wall shelves were installed inside the truck in turn. When everything seemed to be finished, we painted Luisa's small coffee food truck in her favorite color and outlined the body with LED lighting bars to create a unique feel in the dark. Before shipping, our inspectors thoroughly inspected the interior and exterior of the trucks as well as the equipment to ensure that the vehicle was in perfect condition. After the sanitation, the small coffee food truck was sent to the port for shipment.
