11.4ft Mobile Hot Dog Concession Trailer Built to Client's Needs.
This 11.4ft mobile hot dog concession trailer is one of the hottest mobile concession trailers we designed. Unlike common American style box trailers, it has a sleek look that creates a vintage atmosphere. Tow concession windows are installed screens and paired with drop-down folding concession shelves used for placing light items, like napkins and menus. With a width of 6.5ft and a height of 7.2ft, its interior is spacious. In order to add more storage space, worktables with many cabinets are fixed in the trailer.
Two necessary pieces of equipment for making hot dogs, namely a gas fryer and grill, are mounted on the rear benches, near the water sink. Above them, a commercial range hood is installed to remove greasy fumes during cooking. It helps to minimize fire risk. The water sink in the trailer is required according to the rules in Switzerland. There is a 3 compartment water sink (980*340*250mm) and a hand sink (230*340*250mm) made of fine stainless steel in the concession trailer. It is equipped with cold/hot water faucets with the ability to swivel around flexibly. In order to meet the client's large demand for water, regular water tanks were replaced with large ones that were able to contain 60L and 80L respectively.
In most cases, a bench fridge is a preferred choice when it comes to keeping ingredients fresh in the concession trailer. It features an under-bench design that saves a lot of room. Its countertop is food-grade stainless steel, so it can be used as a worktable for preparing and cooking food. Commonly, the fridge is installed at the front table. On the one hand, there is plenty of room under the table. On the other hand, it remains the equilibrium of the trailer, given large pieces of kitchen equipment are fixed at the rear tables. However, the client demanded more storage. Therefore, we mounted a vertical fridge into his concession trailer and placed it near the water sink. The design of the front workbench remained unchanged. The fridge is a regular commercial model with a refrigerator net capacity of 74L and a freezer net capacity of 38L, giving huge space for keeping and cooling food. A wall shelf or cabinet is another solution for increasing storage room in the trailer. It can be fixed above the concession window or the water sink.
