9.8ft Custom Enclosed Vending Trailer in Jamaica
Is necessary to buy a large enclosed vending trailer for your business? Most people prefer a commercial enclosed vending trailer of 15ft or longer because, in their view, a large one comes with plenty of storage room that allows them to bring more supplies and serve more types of dishes. However, the food trailer size is a big factor in the food trailer price. On average, a 15ft enclosed vending trailer is about $4,500-$8,000, not including any kitchen equipment or cooking appliances. It is a little bit expensive, isn't it? So, what should you do next? Seek reliable sources of financing or lower your standard on the enclosed vending trailer size? The latter is much more advisable.
This project is mainly about how we customized a 9.8ft enclosed vending trailer and optimized its floor plan to maximize the utilization of space so that an ideal unit that meets the client's demand for more storage room can be provided.

Is a Large Enclosed Vending Trailer Suitable for Your Business?
In the inquiry, the client told us that he was looking for a 15-20ft enclosed concession trailer to expand his coffee business in Jamaica. But, he soon found that all available options were out of his budget after going through the price list of our food trailer models. Instead of giving up his plan, the client asked for our help, wondering if there was a solution within his price range from $3,500-$5,000. To be honest, that was a huge challenge for our team. Instead of disappointing the client, our team spent a lot of time learning his business plan and food trailer concepts and came up with a solution to meet his demanding needs - customizing a 9.8ft enclosed food vending trailer and changing its interior layout to add more storage room.
In fact, 15 ft-20 ft food trailers are widely used as mobile kitchens or restaurants. They do come with lots of space for countertops and storage. But, do you really need it? The business, like selling coffee, ice cream, hot dogs, and bubble tea, runs successfully in a small area. Just take a look at those corner stores! That is why the hottest size for mobile bars and coffee trailers is in the range of 7 to 10 ft.
Therefore, we recommended the FR300WD, a popular enclosed vending trailer model for the mobile coffee business. It is a roundtop concession trailer featuring a reinforced galvanized steel frame and shining cold-rolled steel body, starting at $3,200. Given the client's requirements for interior space, we redesigned its floor plan and built the whole trailer from scratch, from manufacturing its heavy-duty chassis to installing commercial stainless steel workbenches.

Enclosed Vending Trailer Layout with Plenty of Storage
Interior layout should be given as much emphasis as exterior design in the process of building a functional food trailer. A well-designed enclosed vending trailer layout is able to maximize the space in the trailer so that you can bring more supplies and necessities with you.
In the 9.8ft enclosed vending trailer, two 2.9x0.3x0.3m commercial 201 stainless steel workbenches are fixed at the side walls, giving a wide and glossy countertop for preparing, cooking, and serving. The rear workbench comes with a splash guard at the back to keep the wall clean. There are many compartments under the countertop for storing supplies, disposables, and necessities. The client highly valued food safety, so hinged doors were installed on these compartments to keep dust and dirt out.
A 2 compartment water sink is mounted on the rear workbench. Plumbing, clean water tanks, waste water tanks, water pumps, and water heaters are perfectly stored in the cabinets under the table.
The rear wall is able to add storage space if it is designed properly. We fixed three 0.9x0.3x0.3m stainless steel wall cabinets on it according to the client's demands. Made of quality 201 stainless steel and has a strong frame, they can bear the weight of 50kg. Supplies, like coffee beans, milk, and sugars, can be stored in them. The client can reach them easily when he lifts an elbow. In addition, these cabinets have hinged doors to keep things from falling out.

Extra Add-ons for Customizing an Enclosed Vending Trailer for Yourself
A custom enclosed vending trailer means that you can decide its specification, features, and design. In addition to the commercial kitchen equipment, we provide many add-ons that can add specific features to the trailer and facilitate your workflow. Here are what the client chose for his enclosed vending trailer:
- Food trailer color: It is an available option when buying a custom food trailer in Jamaica. There are hundreds of RAL colors you can choose from. Want to create a vintage style for your coffee trailer? Paint the trailer black! If you have no idea, our professional design team will give you some suggestions based on your business and brand.
- The stainless steel generator box: All equipment in the enclosed vending trailer is powered by electricity, so the client asked for an extra enclosure for mounting his generator. According to the size of his generator, a 700x450x605mm stainless steel generator box was welded on the trailer tongue. It not only provides a safe enclosure for the generator but muffles the noise when the generator is in full operation. Besides, it was painted the same color as the trailer body to make everything aesthetically match.
