Glory Hot Dog Carts - A Open Kitchen on the Wheels

Glory hot dog carts are specifically designed for sausage preparation. In simple terms, these carts allow you to grill or cook hot dogs on-site, just like an open mobile kitchen. (Most hot dog vending carts on the market can only reheat food.) Prioritizing mobility and portability, we use a lightweight trailer chassis as the foundation, equipped with galvanized steel axles, tires, and trailer stabilizers. The body of the hot dog cart is then constructed with stainless steel diamond plate, wired and fitted with equipment. All cooking equipment isn't permanently fixed, so it can be easily assembled or disassembled. Sinks, storage cabinets, steam pans, and other are seamlessly integrated into the countertop. The countertop is optimized to provide ample space for cooking, storage, serving, and cleaning.

Although open, the countertop of the hot dog cart isn't fully exposed to the elements. Each Glory hot dog cart comes with an awning that provides coverage for the entire countertop. Additionally, the hot dog cart can be branded by placing a logo on the LED light box.

Hot Dog Cart Design

For most, designing a hot dog cart isn't as simple as sketching out your concept on paper. There are many factors to consider, from the overall dimensions of the cart to electrical wiring, equipment and component installations, and ensuring that the final design meets regulatory standards. Yes, each county has specific health codes and regulations for food vending carts. Things are getting a bit complex for some, but don't worry, we're here to help!

Glory has experienced engineers and draftsmen who have designed a series of multi-functional hot dog carts for street corner hot dog vendors. These units, we can confidently say, have everything every hot dog vendor needs – grill, fryer, refrigerator, steam table, sink, countertop, storage space, display, and awning. How does a small hot dog food cart have so much? Let our designer, Zain, unravel the answer for you.

Hot Dog Cart Dimensions

When it comes to mobile hot dog cart design, portability and mobility are paramount, as these units are often not fixed to one location. They may even travel to multiple locations or events within a day. Thus, they need to be as small as possible while still providing enough space to install the necessary equipment. Models with cooking equipment like grills, fryers, and steam tables tend to have lengths over 2 meters and widths over 1 meter. Sounds a bit large? These units come equipped with standard towing kits, allowing you to tow them to your intended sales location with any vehicle. The Hot Dog Push Cart series is smaller in size, accommodating fewer pieces of equipment, making it more suitable for small businesses.

Water System

Handwashing facilities are a mandatory feature for all food vending carts, unless you are selling pre-packaged food. The standard hot dog cart comes with a standard water system that provides a continuous source of clean water, even in areas without a water source. The system includes a 2-compartment water sink, a faucet, a pump, a clean water tank, and a waste water tank. If necessary, a water heater can be incorporated into your cart. Additionally, the number of sink compartments can be increased, up to a maximum of four. While smaller than commercial sinks in restaurants, they are sufficient for washing the tools needed to prepare hot dogs.

Cooking Equipment

We've tried to incorporate all cooking equipment that can be used for the hot dog business into the food cart, and we've succeeded. Optional features include a deep fryer, hot dog grill, fridge, and steam table. You can choose any one of them, or be greedy and have them all. The equipment will be installed on your chosen side for easy cooking and food preparation.

Power Source

Our hot dog carts require both electricity and gas, as the water pump requires electricity to operate, while most cooking equipment is gas-powered. You can easily find a generator socket and gas valve on the side of the cart.

Countertop

You may notice a foldable shelf on one side of the food cart. This is to provide additional countertop space for food preparation. Its surface is made of food-grade stainless steel, allowing direct contact with food.

Storage Space

Since the countertop has been occupied by various equipment, we had to consider utilizing the space underneath. We've created independent storage cabinets by installing partitions and cutting doors, which can be used to store things needed for your business operations, such as napkins, disposable utensils, condiments, etc. In some cases, these cabinets are also used to house refrigerators or water tanks. All cabinets can be locked.
